PLYRACKS Van Outfitters ("PLYRACKS", "we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We operate under Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

1. Who we are

PLYRACKS Van Outfitters is a custom van and trailer outfitting business based in Calgary, Alberta. The business owner, Rob, is the person responsible for privacy questions.

2. What we collect

We collect only what we need to respond to your quote request or inquiry:

• Contact form: your name, email, phone number, trade, van make/model/year, and any details you share.
• Configurator: in addition to contact info, the build you configured (van model, selected modules, total price).
• Automatic data: basic analytics such as IP address, browser type, pages visited, and referring site (via Google Analytics).

3. Why we collect it

• To reply to your quote or message and discuss your build.
• To schedule your install if you proceed.
• To improve our website and understand which pages are useful.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone.

4. Third-party services we use

When you submit a form or use the site, some information is handled by trusted third parties:

• EmailJS — delivers quote confirmation emails. Receives your name, email, phone, and build details.
• Twilio — sends SMS quote confirmations if you provide a phone number. Receives your phone number and quote reference.
• ElevenLabs — powers the voice assistant widget. If you interact with it, your voice input is processed by ElevenLabs.
• Google Analytics — anonymous traffic measurement. Uses cookies to understand site usage.
• Our CRM (hosted on a private server) — stores your lead information so we can follow up.

Each of these providers has their own privacy policy. We only share what's needed for them to perform the service.

5. How long we keep it

We keep quote and lead information for as long as needed to serve you, plus a reasonable period for business records and warranty support (typically 7 years). You can ask us to delete your information at any time — see section 7.

6. How we protect it

• Our website uses HTTPS to encrypt data in transit.
• Our CRM is stored on a secured server with access limited to Rob and authorized staff.
• We use reputable third-party providers (EmailJS, Twilio, ElevenLabs) that maintain industry-standard security.

No system is perfect. If you believe your data has been compromised, please contact us immediately.

7. Your rights

Under PIPEDA, you have the right to:

• Know what personal information we hold about you.
• Request a copy of that information.
• Ask us to correct it if it's wrong.
• Ask us to delete it (subject to any legal or business-records obligations).
• Withdraw your consent to future marketing at any time.

To make any of these requests, email info@plyracks.com with "Privacy Request" in the subject line. We'll respond within 30 days.

8. Cookies

We use cookies only for Google Analytics (to count visits and understand traffic patterns). We don't use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking. You can disable cookies in your browser settings at any time; the site will still work normally.

9. Children

This site and service are not directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

10. Changes to this policy

If we update this policy, the new version will be posted here with an updated "Last updated" date. Significant changes will be communicated by updating the homepage notice.
